The distinctive and refined flavour profile is based on a blend of cocoa beans that offer barrel-aged notes. Some beans are actually aged in barrels to develop fine aromas and unique characteristics. Other beans, however, are sourced from an island in the Indian Ocean, and are characterised by the smoky notes in their flavour profile. On the palate, the chocolate releases notes of toasted wood, smoked embers and tobacco leaves.
